How do YOU fur?
So, I'm completely stumped on furring. Honestly, no matter what I do I just can't seem to get it right. It just looks flat and just.. yeah no. I have read the entire kesame tutorial for furring and a few others, however, me and my beginner mind just can't seem to get it right. Is there some trick t...

My hardship regarding legs
So, it would seem that wolf legs Are my biggest struggle.. Honestly. Especially the back legs and how they're positioned for different movements, etc. I was just wondering how everyone figured these things out? Did you use reference photos or tutorials, or possibly a mixture of both? I'm really jus...

So, I just thought that I'd post some tutorials that I have found over the past few weeks or months, or.. yeah. Anyway, I found all of thes...

LOLOL. Nice conversation. c; jkjk. And that is a beautiful reference Dragoncat! ;; If my art could turn out like either yours or Chenneoue's.. I would just die. lmfao. And Dragon, for the face how would you fur it like at side view? Are you just using a smaller brush and then different shades undern...

Re: Shading Fur?
It can also be all about the brushes too. Her technique involves layering, you always go from dark to light. I go from bigger brush to smaller brush as well, eventually going down to a little 3px brush to make hairs https://d.facdn.net/art/dark-dragoncat/1343180944.dark-dragoncat_fox_png.png" oncli...

Re: Shading Fur?
Yes, I do use a tablet. I believe it's a bamboo fun or something like that. It's one of the newer versions of bamboo. Anyways, by the pen pressure sensitive feature. Where is that located so I can check to make sure? Is it the shape dynamics? Or? You can tell I'm new to this. lmfao. Pressure sensiti...

Re: Shading Fur?
Maybe I am slow here... but are you looking for an outline? Or no outline, or one that just peeks through? You can create an outline and use different layering effects to change on it looks and works. If you don't want one, you would likely create new layers about the outline to paint over it. A "p...

Shading Fur?
Alright, I'm entirely stumped. I honestly do not understand furring at all. I mean, I've looked through who knows how many tutorials. http://sullivan.deviantart.com/art/A-Fur-Tutorial-Part-2-217035127 Such as Kesame's/Sullivan's. Don' get me wrong, it's a wonderful tutorial! Re: Question?
It may be on what type of tablet you are using? I am not 100% sure, but I don't think pressure sensetivity will work with a pad/mouse. I havee Bamboo Fun: Pen & Touch, and that has pressure sensetivity on it. If you have a tablet you might wan't to check your Prefrences. I have mine set to this; ht...

Question?
Hello, I was just wondering....How do you get the brushes
on SAI to end in a point like fur? Sheppi gave me a picture to
show me how she sets it, and i'm thankful.
But when I went to do so, I must have not put it in
right.
So can you please possibly help? Thankyou so much! :]
