Underdog has just finished adding some extra coding to the chat to allow various emoticons!
The full current list for the one's we currently have are below.

Note: (lol) and (LOL) only work if you have text in front of them, otherwise they become a thought bubble with lol in it, if you put ((lol)) or ((LOL)) you'll then have a thought bubble with an Emoticon in it.
You will find some show the same Emoticon, but UD is planning to add more so stay tuned

I would love to have some suggestions for emoticons. I want to keep these pretty simple, and I may end up adding something to the profile to let you turn them on or off or maybe have alternates sets for certain subscription levels.

So, If you turn them off, others wont see an emote in a ":)" you put? Or would they have to have their's off too?

Maybe, for higher subscriptions, have wolf ones, like the small ones we have that we can enter on the forums.

Maybe for the ultimate subscription, a choice to upload your own emotes! :o

If they can be turned off, only you would see the :) :O ;). Other people would see the emotes.
They are nice, but I wouldn't mind turning them off myself.

It took me a while to get the on-off code working in the properties but I think it is now. Unfortunately, right now you still have to re-enter the room to get them to go away. I am going to work on that once I fix some other stuff.

The (lol) and (LOL) don't work because they become thought bubbles with the brackets.
Neat idea :)
I like the thought of ultimate subscribers being allowed to upload their own emotes. Or having wolf emotes like the ones on the forum!

I don't think smilies really fit on WH but whatever. -shrugs-

Agreed.
I've also found that they cause lag (what with loading them on both the scroll and the text bubbles)

i like the idea of the wolf smileys but ONLY if the option to view them or not is added
As for the yellow smileys an then the wolf ones being for a high subscription, i think its a bad idea since the yellow ones dont fit WH at all. Everyone should have the right to use smileys though if they have theres set to view them etc
