how you determined my actual birth date I don't wanna know~
Around Christmas time last year, you had to give your birthdate before you logged in, otherwise you wouldn't be allowed to log in. I'm sure that's how they got it. Which is too bad because I wrote the wrong date for that... sigh.
I don't remember this or ever seeing/hearing of it. This is just stupid.
I must've entered mine wrong, too. LAME.

If it's the law then UD can be held personally responsible for not following it. In a worst-case scenario, he can have all of Chatlands shut down or even get arrested.
I don't agree with this
there are younger users on this site who are extremley mature for their age, and have older friends. If someone doesnt like the conversation thats going on in that room, they have the power to leave themselves. this could affect a lot. some of the changes going on here are a bit too drastic for my liking, and with not much point. if some over 18's are annoyed with the younger users, can't you go to serenity isles? isnt that one of the points of that particular chatsite?
but hey ho thats just my opinion.

so Idk.
And you just sparked my brain. What if users under 18 had to have some kind of parental permission thing to be allowed in instead of flat out no-go? Like how we have the users under...13? have to have permission to join, user under 18 would have to have permission to participate in such rooms? *shrug*

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the fact that the majority is American or something. Or maybe it's a general internet law or something lmfao what do I know I can't even tell you my state's laws XD
If room owners still control the content of private rooms, then they can set it to PG-13 with a warning in their room rules that says: "Swearing allowed. May contain mature content," just like they do on TV.
I'm sure there is no precise need to have x-rated content in private rooms... That can be kept to whispers. Most of the things my friends joke about are barely even above PG-13, even in x-rated rooms.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Also, I think UD lives in America, and so he is subject to those laws. Could be wrong, again.
Got an idea.
Setting a password, with a warning of what will be going on in the room, and the password will be somewhere in the rules/warning.
I'm a genius.

And to everyone, We're going to get nowhere by flooding the thread with complaints. It's been done and it's the law. :c
