ban ladder reset
So I've been told two different things by two different administrator's, and I'm genuinely confused. Do bans reset at two months or not? How are they handled if someone is banned, and then 3 months later, another offense it taken against them. Do they start over? or do they continue on with their ban ladder?

yeah the new ban ladder hasn't ever made sense to me lol but I've just accepted that, I'm more interested in the entire reset part, because it's confusing now that it's supposedly does or doesn't reset? :(

2 months for reminders up to 12 hours, 4 months for 3 days through to 2 weeks and six months for 1 month.
They reset once the date expires with no offences. Otherwise they progress up. However if it is seen to be abused by specific offenders, the reset period can be ignored.
Reset periods start the appropriate months of when the offence is made. Hope this makes sense?

Too much magic can be dangerous.
M'aiq once had two spells and burned his sweetroll.

Yes, with each offense, say you break the rules again after your first reminder within the refresh period, your refresh will be pushed to two months from the date your new offense was recorded.
