Demotions have been a topic amongst the community, most of which have shown great interest in there being more transparency in regards to a demotion. We have discussed this in a lengthy manner and have come up with a conclusion.

Demotions will be released to current staff, in-depth if deemed serious enough to potentially affect the overall health of the team if that information were to remain private.
In addition, users are welcome to ask an Alpha as to why an administrator was demoted. We will, however, not go into detail with the entirety of the userbase as to why the administrator in question was demoted. We will provide an explanation in clarity of the rule(s) that were broken, in such a private manner as to not breach our own rules for "naming and shaming" and in some circumstances, "disturbing the peace".

We understand the seriousness in wanting clarification as to why someone who was an administrator has been removed from or demoted from their position. This is why, while we will not announce any demotions publicly on the forums, you are welcome to approach an Alpha if you have an inquiry.

We appreciate your patience in this matter. If there are any concerns regarding this decision, please feel free to privately message an Alpha. As we are all individuals, we are open to outside thoughts and perspectives on the matter. Please be aware this may not change the overall result, but we of course will bring any concerns or ideas forward to the team for discussion.

To further clarify, no demotions prior to 8/8/22 will be released to the public as all current administrators are signing a Code of Conduct that states it may be released.

Thank you,
-Loki

We are currently re-evaluating this rule and will update you on if it remains the same or will be changed.
