No, not bald. Bald is kind of
obvious
lmao
But I need help or a good tutorial on how to draw shaved hair? It's just confusing to me.
And Photoshop tutorials don't work because I don't have it.
I have GIMP, FireAlpaca, SAI, etc blah blah just name one other than Photoshop I probably have it tbh.
How can I get the "texture" or just, basically, make shaved hair look right when I'm drawing it?
Thanks so much in advance, I'm having a lot of trouble with this.

((if this is in the wrong spot, please move it!))

she is a genius. I recommend looking at her techniques. She might still have some step-by-steps up, but if not, just looking at her art will give you a clue.

Yeah, the dots/speckles is what I usually do but it's not so helpful to me anymore when I'm trying to do more realistic or very detailed portraits. ):

Euclase's dA is very helpful for referencing, it's amazing, thanks Clove.
I have so many sketches and unfinished things just sitting because so many of my characters have shaved/partially shaved hair lmao.
