The administration is currently seeking hard working, motivated, and friendly new faces to join our team.
We look for administrators in two different ways: applications and nominations.
An application is where you can speak on your on behalf as to why you believe you should be an administrator and how you fit the role.
A nomination is when other users can speak on your behalf, and may give their own reasons as to why someone may be fit for the role.
This thread contains the application. You will need to copy and paste the format and PM it to any alpha via the forum with your answers. The Alphas will receive the applications and post them for discussion with the rest of the administration team.
The way in which we discuss applications has now changed. Applications will now be voted on whether or not you will go through an interview stage. If not, you will receive a notice with our decision after discussion of your application. However, if you do make it through to an interview stage, a Beta will contact you to organize a time in which the interview will be conducted. From there, you will go through a final voting process on whether or not you will be accepted into the Administration team.
Please note that making it to the interview stage does not secure a spot on the administration team.
From the day someone submits an application to the day a notice is sent regarding the status of an application, your application and interview responses (if an interview is conducted) will be carefully reviewed. We want to gain a sense of whether or not you answered the questions honestly and to the best of your abilities. From there, we decide if the role of administrator is a suitable fit.

This process can take up to two months. In this time, we ask that you patiently wait. We understand this wait can be stressful, but we take ample time to ensure we are making the best decision possible.
There are also several reasons an application can be disqualified. Lying about your age, sending the application to anybody that isn't an alpha, falsifying information, and prior rule violations are a few.
**Please note that we are no longer accepting applications from people who are in a relationship with one another. If you and your significant other(s) send in an application this round, the applications will be disqualified. This is because the administration now has a fraternization and nepotism policy.**
Once a decision has been made, an alpha will send you a message or will approach you regarding the status of your application. If your application is accepted, you will be promoted to Administration Assistant and there will be a training period, which can last a few weeks.
If your application is rejected, you can always try again in the future. You are free to send in another application in the next application round.
Please note that sending in an application does not mean that you can instantly join the team or that you will be ensured a place on the team.
All administrators on Wolfhome must also be at least 18 years or older in age and must have joined Wolfhome at least 5 months prior to sending an application.
People who have recently been released from a permanent ban, and are undergoing their probationary period at the time of submitting their application are not eligible to send in an application and will result in an automatic disqualification.
And before you consider filling out an application, here is some advice from us to you:
Honesty is key
Be honest in your application! Honesty is very important, and that is a trait that we look for in administrators.
An application should have a lot of thought, effort, and attention to detail put into it.
Usually this comes in the form of having an appropriate amount of content. An application should not be too short and it should not be too long.
Try to explain yourself and answer the questions with as much important information as you can.
We look for active members of the community! Being active means that you log into the chat and the forum regularly (that means, at least once a week at minimum).
We want to promote people who care a lot about Wolfhome!
All applications are discussed thoroughly and go through a selection process. This process can take awhile, as we want to ensure that we are making a proper and educated choice.
For this reason, we ask that you be patient as your application is discussed. This also pertains to sending in multiple applications at the same time. It is also important to note that asking about the status of your application will result in your application being denied.

Maturity and Responsibility
We look for users who can behave professionally.
That is not to say you have to put your whole personality aside and be “strictly professional” or “rigid” all the time in order to become an administrator, but an administrator must know when to put jokes aside when it comes down to serious business.
This is also to say that a few prior offenses on your account will not mean you will be automatically rejected.
Similarly to that, an application should have a lot of thought, effort, and seriousness into it, similar to an application one would send in for a job. You would not use text-speak or abbreviations in a job application! You would use full, complete, and well thought out sentences.
Be true to yourself
This does go along with being honest, but do not feel that you need to be someone you are not while filling out your application.
Just be true to who you are and represent yourself accurately!
Rejection is not the end of the world
If your application is denied, it does not mean you can never become an administrator on Wolfhome in the future!
There will always be other opportunities, whether it is on Wolfhome or not. You can always try again after a full four months have gone by.
