Greetings Wolfhome!

Recently, with your input and help, we've decided to create a new department. The 'Community Acquisition Retention & Engagement' department, or CARE for short, combines the existing community committees and brings them under one name. (Thank you to Trinket for the name!)

The Event Committee and Relations Team have merged together to become the 'Community Teams'. This allows users of each team to work on both areas without having to join another team. Users can go into specific areas that interest them without having to worry about other responsibilities that they may not like as much.
For example, if you are interested in hosting events on chat, but aren't great at creating all the graphics and fancy posts for it, you can be an event host! Or if you don't like hosting events and just like creating them, you can be an event creator! If you'd like to write posts for Wolfhome's social media accounts, but don't want to handle logging into and out of the accounts, you can be a social media writer. The possibilities are endless!

What does this mean for people on the EC / RT?

Nothing! You do not have to reapply. You may be asked what area you'd like to work in (for example, you'd like to be an event manager, or an event creator, or a social media writer) and your titles on Wolfhome and on the forum will change. The boards have also been merged and moved, so things may look different!

But that's not all.....

We have introduced a BRAND NEW committee - the Art Commitee!

What is the Art Committee?

The Art Committee (or AC), led by @fungus , will be responsible for ALL art related aspects of Wolfhome. Whether its creating art and graphics for events, or reviewing poses and conducting pose sweeps, if it includes art, the AC will be there.

How do I join the Art Committee?

The Art Committee works like the Community Teams, except it has some extra requirements to join. At the moment, it is only opened to artists with extensive experience and knowledge. Since members of the Art Committee will be reviewing poses, we would like to make sure every member has a basic understanding of art principles and standards. In order to do this, there will be a series of short questions testing your knowledge on the application.

In the future, the Art Committee WILL open up to beginner artists!

Thank you all for your input in the Chatlands Townhall server, we would have never made it this far without your discussions!
