Are you able to see the page? I see a log entry for "Renn" so it looks like you are able to get into the page now? The timestamp on the log entry was: 21/Jun/2008:22:18:16 -0500

Attention: I changed the link code slightly so if you already installed it, you might want to get it again. I am still working the details out.

That looks really cool! It doesn't have a click-thru on it though. That be added though, right? Maybe I better get something like that up there too. Also different shaped buttons are definitely on the to-do list.

I guess nobody has tried to add this, because the HTML code is messed up.
<A HREF='http://www.wolfhome.com/?ref=251lfr'><IMG SRC='http://www.wolfhome.com/images/banners/ ... ref=251lfr[/b][/u]' WIDTH=468 HEIGHT=60 BORDER=0 TARGET=_blank ALT='Wolfhome Online Avatar Web Chat'></A>
You need to take out the bolded/underlined part, it's adding it to the actual image URL.
Anyways, it's on my myspace. http://www.myspace.com/ardentfantasies
Also, for the small banner, the dimensions in the code need to be changed, they're the same as the large ones, so the image comes out distorted.

actually, Ardent, I just added that in on purpose LOL. the ?ref= bit doesn't hurt anything. The browser still shows the image. What it does is let me (and eventually YOU) know how many times someone has viewed the image from your page. I was thinking it would be neat to have a statistics page that you could view that said: 123 impressions (i.e. page views) and 12 clickthrus (i.e. they came to WH) and 2 new accounts (i.e. they signed up) and 10 deltas purchased (i.e. they actually bought deltas)...

Trying to post it on myspace, the image actually didn't show until I removed that bit.
Example:

With code.

Without.
Maybe it's a fluke, but I don't think some programs (myspace, phpBB forums, etc.) are recognizing the link as an image link because it does not end with an appropriate extension.

dang, ok I guess I will have to get tricky with it then. and thanks for letting me know about the problem with the height and width. I think I have that fixed now. I will have to change how I display images to get around myspace messing with it. :(Ardent wrote:Trying to post it on myspace, the image actually didn't show until I removed that bit.

I don't know the syntax for myspace.com. Is it similar to phpbb2? I wonder what is the best way to handle this. I thought just putting HTML out there would work but yeah, phpbb2 does handle it differently with the silly [img] tag... hmmm...
I did modify the page again and now the image path is actually a script. I wonder if that will break it too. If someone with a myspace account could give it a try, I would appreciate it.

That url wouldn't get you to the wolfhome home page but I have a version now that I think works ok...
I have been working on this a bit tonight. It has both HTML and PHPBB2 output now. You click a radio button to indicate which one you want to use. Hopefully that will help with some of these issues. I am still not sure if it works on myspace. We'll see :)
