Status: Open
We seek professional, team-oriented, motivated, self-assured individuals to join our staff who possess strong communication skills, the capacity to ask questions or request further information when necessary, and who are familiar with the rules and regulations of Wolfhome.

Applicants should keep in mind that becoming a staff member on any Chatland shell is not merely about ensuring the chat is secure and safe. As members of the Wolfhome staff, we collaborate on many different topics and strive to find suitable solutions before completing projects and other tasks. All perspectives are accepted and respected, and we strongly encourage every staff member to voice their opinion on all relevant matters before progressing. It is essential to be familiar with our forum's navigation and usage as this is where we handle works in progress, deliberations, and reports.
Upon joining our team as an Apprentice, your main objective will be to successfully complete your training course of 3 weeks. You will receive a guide that explains how to become better familiar with our policies, a link to the Admin Handbook & Code of Conduct to look over and sign, an invitation to the Staff Training Discord, the names of your mentors, and the details of your training course. Your training will mainly consist of scenarios to practice with and questions to answer, which will help you grasp the way our write-ups are formatted and is designed to teach you how to navigate the administrative boards. Additionally, you will observe your mentors and other administrators while participating in various discussions and learn how to properly use our chat's moderating tools.
As an Apprentice, you will not be dealing with live reports until your training period has been completed. Please note that if no other administrators are available, you will be asked to refrain from using your main account and encouraged to use an alternative until someone becomes available for you to shadow. This is to ensure that you do not receive any live reports prematurely. You will be expected to forward any live reports to an Available Administrator ASAP or ping them in the Staff Training Discord.
As an Apprentice, you will be expected to:
✧ Sign the Administrator Code of Conduct
✧ Review the Administrator Handbook
✧ Join the Staff Training Discord server
✧ Answer at least four training questions and complete at least 10 training scenarios within 3 weeks
✧ Keep up to date on current discussions within the administrative boards & share your perspective
✧ Use alternative accounts when mentors or administrators are offline, forwarding any reports you may receive
✧ Practice how to remove idle members from the chat using different methods

✧ Must be 18+
✧ Your partner/sibling cannot be on the team already
✧ You are not able to apply if you are under probation or have recently been released from a permanent ban
✧ Major infractions such as lying about age and falsifying information will result in rejection

✧ Please send your application to Herb, or Kiko via forum PM! If your application is not sent to one of these two staff members, you will be asked to redirect your PM appropriately. Please refrain from sending your application to Underdog.
✧ We will respond to you with your Application Tracker so you can keep track of your application process!
✧ Upon your application's approval, we will ask to schedule an interview with you where we will ask you various questions and get to know you a bit better! Please note that the Interview Stage does not guarantee a staff position.
To learn about Application Trackers, please see here.
To view the Administrator Code of Conduct of which you will be required to sign upon your approval, please see here.
Please be sure to check our Administrator Availability topic to see who is available to receive your application.

Please be sure to be as detailed as possible when answering these questions. We use them to determine your eligibility and to better get to know you as a person! It is important to be as thorough as possible. Thank you and good luck!
